Who doesn’t love French fries? Fries are one of the most popular foods in the world and are served almost everywhere and at any time. Let’s face it – it’s very hard to resist the temptation of a dish of crunchy and salty fries. But, unfortunately, they are very dangerous for our health, even in smaller amounts. They have been related to a host of cardiovascular problems and will surely increase your cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Ingredients:

  • 5-7 potatoes
  • 2 egg whites
  • Ground pepper,
  • paprika and salt to taste

Preparation:

1.Peel the potatoes and cut them to about 1 cm. in thickness.

2.Beat the egg whites until you get a light froth. Add the salt, pepper and paprika in the mix.

3.Put the potatoes in a bowl and pour the mixture over them.

4.Preheat the oven on 220 C, then put a baking paper in the oven tray. Put the potatoes on the tray and bake them for 7-10 minutes until they’re golden brown.
