Ladies and gents, synchronise your smartphones.
Apparently, there is an ideal time of day to making love.

Hormone expert Alisa Vitti said 3pm is the perfect time to indulge in a bit of afternoon delight.

Reportedly, it is the best time for both sexes to be satisfied, based on their individual needs.

According to the health expert and author of hormone guide WomanCode, 3pm is when men are most likely to give women the ‘emotional support’ they desire, while still pleasing themselves.

This goes against the commonly accepted notion that mornings are the best time, when men initiate intercourse first thing.
Alisa explains to the Daily Mail that while men sleep, they produce testosterone, which is the key hormone in arousal and sexual performance.

These levels tend to peak in the morning, which is the perfect time for men to making love.

By the afternoon, a man’s testosterone levels have gone down however their oestrogen levels are rising.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Alisa said: “While this may not seem like a logical set-up for satisfaction, given the previous endorsement of testosterone, the combination actually makes men more emotionally present during sex and better able to focus on (a woman’s) needs and satisfaction.

“The best time for women to get it on, no matter the phase, is midday to late afternoon. This is when cortisol is still abundant and energy is high.”

Alisa said the best way to achieve an optimal sex life is for partners to synchronise their libidos, and the best time to compromise is 3pm.
